Cop's dog was shot in line of duty. Here's their priceless reunion

In March 2014, Bruno -- a 7-year-old German Shepherd and 6-year veteran of the Anaheim Police Department -- was shot in the face while chasing a suspect for his partner, RJ Young. The bullet hit Bruno in the face and moved into his lung.
After Bruno was shot, he returned to his partner, bleeding heavily and barely whimpering. Police officers closed down roads and held up traffic to get Bruno to the animal hospital.

"I know a lot of people may not understand; they may say it's just a dog. But this dog went with him everywhere. The dog spends more time with him than I [do]," Rachel Young, RJ's wife, told ABC.
The sweet reunion took a sad turn. In May of last year, two years after he was shot, the retired officer died from complications related to the injuries sustained in the shootout, the Daily News reported. Watch the video below to see this story in action.
