Dog walker finds a dumped suitcase and hears noise from inside, makes surprising discovery

A dog walker stumbled upon an abandoned suitcase near a railway line in Essex on Tuesday, March 3, reports itv.com.
It turns out the walker had accidentally rescued a black and white cat and her 8 baby kittens (5 weeks old). Luckily, swift action was taken and RSPCA rescue center was called.

The black and white cat mom's name was Tarini.
Donna Smith, RSPCA Animal Collections Officer, commented, "It was pure chance that this woman happened to find these little kittens and their mum. She was walking along the disused rail track when she wandered past a dumped suitcase, not thinking anything of it until her dog stopped and started sniffing it. She took a closer look and heard tiny miaows coming from the case, so opened the zip a tiny bit - and was shocked to discover nine pairs of eyes peering back."
When the babies were found, they were all thin and underfed.

Thanks to the kind dog walker, they are finally in safe hands.
Katya Mira of RSPCA told Love Meow, "They are all doing really well now, although mum Tarini originally had to be put on a drip as she was so dehydrated and weak. She is back with her kittens now though."

RSPCA knew that if it wasn't for the dog walker, the story wouldn't have such a happy ending. Please SHARE to remind everyone to be kind and the good that it can bring.
