These incredible, kind, and amazing rescuers went to work rescuing some puppies seen among these cave-like rocks. They didn't know how many there were, if mom was around, or really what they were in for. When they got there, puppies started making their way out and towards the food.

Unfortunately, they got a bit spooked, and after grabbing a few, the rest retreated. No one had any idea how deep the cave went, but after crawling in a bit they could see a group within sight. With patience, they were able to grab three of them with their restraining pole. But there were more.

They persisted. He had to go so deep in the cave that he had to be pulled out by his feet, holding one puppy at a time.

They came out crying and keening, but soon calmed down in the hands of these incredible people. They can be seen stroking the puppies to calm them down before depositing them safely with the others in the cage.

The last puppy was 18 feet into the cave, and took tremendous skill and patience to save. You can see the little one in the center left of the picture above, just out of reach of the pole. Thankfully the puppy helped out and came forward a bit on its own.

After an entire day's worth of hard work, they had all 9 puppies safe and sound.
