Woman tells dog to bark a little softer. Dog knows just what to do, and it's absolutely hilarious

Do you have a dog with a deep bark? Have you often wished your dog would yap less and be quiet more? One Japanese woman trained her smart dog to soften his bark on command, and the result is incredibly adorable. You need to see how the dog responds!
The video below is from a Japanese game show and features a cute Shiba Inu who shares a loving relationship with his owner, who is heard on camera giving him commands.

The Shiba Inu is one of Japan's six native dog breeds, and the smallest one at that. This breed is renowned for his small pointed ears, curly tail, agility and intelligence. Shiba Inu dogs are around 20 pounds, very athletic and independent with a lively personality.

That personality shines through in this video, as does the remarkable bond between dog and owner. The Shiba Inu can be stubborn and headstrong, and therefore a challenge to train. However, this Shiba Inu's owner has apparently earned his respect and attention, as he eagerly waits for her gently spoken command and responds on cue.
The owner first encourages her dog to bark. When the dog responds with a sharp, loud bark, the owner asks him, "You can bark a little softer, right?" The dog responds with a quieter bark, and eventually works his way down to an adorably sweet, throaty little "woof."
It also helped that a tasty reward awaited this talented pup as soon as he finished barking at a whisper!
Have a laugh and watch this remarkable dog and owner in the video below. Like what you see? Share the fun with your friends and family on Facebook.
