People are going crazy over this dog. Can you tell if it's doll or a real dog?

When a puppy this cute hits the internet, it quickly goes viral, and this delightful little one is no exception! With its amazingly bright eyes and semi-standing ears, it just begs you to pick it up and cuddle it. But the question remains, what is it?
There are many breeds that share some of the qualities this pup exhibits. And sometimes it’s hard to tell exactly what a puppy will be until it grows up and acquires its adult characteristics. So for now, it’s really a guessing game. Nevertheless, let’s look at a few traits and see if we can figure this out.
• The puppy has bright white fur. So does the Maltese. Other breeds that are all white include the Bolognese, the West Highland White Terrier, the Bichon Frise, and the Coton de Tulear.
• Its ears may be trying to stand erect. Small fluffy breeds who have erect ears are the West Highland White Terrier and the Japanese Spitz.
• Its ears may also be “tulip” ears, which fold in the middle. Dogs with this type of ear include the Maltese and the Coton de Tulear.
• Its eyes are large and black. This is common with the Bichon Frise, the Bolognese, the Coton de Tulear and the Maltese.
• Its little button nose is also black. Once again, that is a common trait with the Bichon Frise, the Bolognese, the Coton de Tulear and the Maltese.
• This dog is really tiny. The smallest of the fluffy, white pups we’re comparing are definitely the Bolognese and the Maltese.
Now it’s your turn. What breed do you think this adorable puppy is? Or—heaven forbid!—is it not really a dog at all but a doll? Show the pictures to your friends. What do they think?
