Dog kept waiting for flight attendant outside her hotel. Flight attendant soon gives dog what he wanted all along

As a flight attendant, Olivia Sievers has met many unique souls during her travels. But no one is more special than a dog named Rubio who chose Sievers as the person he loved best.
Sievers frequently travels from her home in Germany to Argentina for her job. One day while walking through Buenos Aires, Sievers met a scrappy street dog. She gave him some treats and attention, and he stuck by her side.

"I tried to change my way because I didn't want him to follow me back to the hotel," Sievers told Noticiero Trece. "But it was not possible. He always came back and followed me. I tried one hour, but he always watched me and followed me. He was really happy that somebody gave him attention."
Rubio had already made up his mind about Sievers. He camped outside of the front door to her hotel, and Sievers, feeling sorry for him, gave him an airline blanket to keep warm.
Eventually, Sievers had to travel back to Germany, and Rubio went back to the streets of Buenos Aires. But amazingly, the next time Sievers was in town, Rubio was waiting at the hotel! Somehow the dog knew that Sievers had returned.
Over the months that passed, with each trip Sievers made back to Argentina, Rubio would appear the hotel as if he knew her schedule. But each time she would have to leave him to return to Germany.
At one point, Sievers contacted a rescue group, Mascotas Puerto Madero Adopciones Responsables, to see if they could place Rubio in a permanent home. But Rubio was having none of it. He kept escaping from his foster home to return to Sievers at the hotel.
At that point, Sievers knew it was inevitable: she had herself a new dog. She filled out the necessary paperwork, and with the help of the volunteers at the Mascots Puerto Madero Adopciones Responsables rescue, Rubio made the long journey from Buenos Aires to Germany.
Finally, Rubio had his forever home with the owner he wanted!
Now, Rubio lives the life in Germany with Sievers and her other dogs. Theirs was a relationship that was meant to be!
