Stray kitten interrupts live TV broadcast, and anchor's response is truly awesome

One tiny stray kitten wanted a new home so badly that he made himself the focus of the news on a Turkish morning television show.
During a live broadcast of "Good Morning, Denizli," anchor Kudret Çelebioğlu's delivery of the early-morning news was interrupted by the appearance of an unexpected visitor.

In the middle of the newscast, a small kitten peered over the desk before jumping up on top of it. The surprise guest then made a beeline for Çelebioğlu's laptop and proceeded to lie down on the keyboard.
The anchor was slightly taken aback at first, but then he not only took the cat's live TV cameo in stride, but he also made meaningful use of it.
Çelebioğlu encouraged his viewers to be compassionate toward the homeless cats in their Turkish communities.
"As you know, winter is coming, and cold weather is passing through," he said. "It's an unexpected guest, [but] we should cuddle him. We should open the doors to stray cats and give them water and food ... We all should take care of them somehow."
This Turkish anchor and his colleagues proved as good as their words. After the newscast ended, Çelebioğlu and his coworkers gave the kitten a meal and a warm bed.
One of the station's employees fell in love with the little stray kitten, adopted him, and named him Hüsnü, which means "handsome man" in Turkish.
Our hats are off to Çelebioğlu and his colleagues for their compassion and kindness toward this kitten when he needed it the most. Watch the video of the cat's TV appearance below, and share his story with your family and friends on Facebook.
