Girl and her dog perform the most amazing rescue on top of the snowy mountains

When 11-year-old Hamdu Sena Bilgin isn't helping her family to run their small farm outside of Rize, Turkey, she and her loyal canine companion are performing daring rescue missions in the heart of winter.
Recently, Bilgin and her dog, Tomi, were watching over a flock of goats grazing on a snow-covered hillside when one of the goats suddenly went into labor. Afraid that the mother goat and her baby wouldn't survive the cold and make it down the hill on their own, Bilgin devised a rescue plan.
"After the goat gave birth, I led the rest of the herd back to their shelter," Bilgin said. "Then I grabbed two backpacks from the house and went back to the goat and her baby with Tomi."
After they arrived back at the hillside, Bilgin picked up the mother goat and placed her in her backpack. The baby goat was strapped into the pack around Tomi's back.
Bilgin had complete faith in her dog's ability to get the job done. "He's a good dog," she said. "Very smart."
Girl and dog, carrying goats on their backs, walked through heavy, drifting snow back to the family farm. "The snow was so thick, I was exhausted," said Bilgin. "But it was worth it." Indeed it was, as both mother and baby goats survived and are thriving.
This incredible rescue story went viral, and now the whole world knows about the heroic team of Bilgin and Tomi.
Well done, team!
