After joining a man and his dog on their walk, this stray kitty is determined to go home with them

Leslie and Jon Nienaber live in Cleveland, OH. Jon regularly takes their basset hound for walks through a neighborhood that contains numerous feral cats. Imagine his surprise when one day in the summer of 2017, a little kitten decided to follow them home. He called to Leslie, who came and saw their new friend.
In a cute video that Leslie made as they went along, the kitten tagged along with the human-and-canine duo, trying to play with his new, big, four-legged friend, who was bemused though not hostile. The kitten followed them all the way down the street. The video quickly went viral.

Leslie got her new charge some food and brought him home. He was so small that she could pick him up in one hand. She instantly fell in love with him, but the Nienabers already had three cats, along with their dog. They could not take on a new kitten.
But Leslie felt they couldn't leave the kitten back on the street. She was sure he would die if they did. He was dirty and alone. He needed help.
Fortunately, Leslie's sister, Sarah, was willing to take the kitten, whom Leslie had named Little Pinot, and brought him to the vet. He was clean and fed in no time.
Leslie was able to visit him as he grew up. He has turned into a healthy, happy, playful kitten. He continues to be a star for the camera as he chases Q-tips and birds through the window glass.
