Scrawny kitten was found under porch, starving and covered in fleas. You should see her now

Starving and covered in fleas, a calico kitten was found under a porch by the local animal control. She was rushed to the nearest Humane Society as her condition and her young age meant her life was in danger. With immediate care at hand, it looked like the kitten would make it. In truth, her story of survival was just beginning.
At the Humane Society, the kitten, called Molly, was given food and a few flea baths. Those first steps helped put some spirit in her step. Once she was stabilized and safe, Molly was given into the care of an experienced foster, @fosterbabycats.

One of the first concerns @fosterbabycats noticed with Molly was that she was food-aggressive, and understandably so. Molly would growl if any of the other foster cats in the house came near her food bowl while she was eating. "She is still a little food aggressive, but I'm trying to help her realize that she will never again have to worry about not having a meal," @fosterbabycats stated.
As a feral kitten, Molly distrusted human beings, so it took a little while for @fosterbabycats to win the little calico over, but eventually, she did just that. One of the best moments was when Molly began snuggling with her foster mom! "Now I've finally got her snuggled up in my arms purring! Foster mom victory!" @fosterbabycats celebrated.
Molly's health was touch-and-go at some points, as is typical of newborn kittens who are not in their mother's care. But thankfully, with @fosterbabycats' constant care, Molly overcame her health troubles. "This is just another (of many) examples of how fostering saves lives. I'm able to give her the attention she needs 24/7," @fosterbabycat said.
Now Molly has the chance to learn to be a kitten, and she is doing so with "cattitude."
She has made friends with the other foster cats in the house...
And she loves her food! @fosterbabycats explained, "We call this phenomenon 'baseball belly' - when a kitten eats as much as their tiny belly can hold."
Molly is a happy kitten who gets along well with everyone in her new home, feline, canine, and human!
The starving kitten whose life was hanging in the balance is now a healthy, energetic cat who purrs like crazy around her foster mom. Because of one woman's compassion, Molly will grow up to be a happy, socialized cat. Share the story of this adorable kitten with your family and friends on Facebook.
