Guy rips off shirt and jumps up on table to make this incredible gesture for his timid dog

Here's a tale to prove that size really does NOT matter! Lillie the St. Bernard is a very large dog that has an ever larger fear: she's scared of being groomed. Now, granted, lots of dogs don't like the sound of the dryer or the process of detangling their fur, but Lillie hated it so much it was all her dad, Lee Asher, could do to get her through the door at the groomers. Even her favorite treats were almost a lost cause when Asher took her to be groomed.
Poor Lillie trembled and shook with fear each time she had to be groomed. Asher had tried everything to get her to calm down, all to no avail. Then a eureka moment hit him.

Ripping his shirt off, Asher climbed up on the table with Lillie. The grooming staff all stopped what they were doing and stared. Then they started to laugh. Even the other dogs looked astounded. But, says Asher, they also looked a little jealous.
Asher told the groomer to alternate between grooming him and grooming Lillie. With encouraging words and lots of hugs, he tried to make Lillie less afraid.
Pretty soon, she began to calm down. It was as if she knew that if dad was in it with her, everything would be okay.
It took a lot of hugs and kisses, but showing his big furbaby that grooming was not something to be afraid of by joining her in the process worked! Lillie was much more relaxed as the groomer—amidst loud laughs and cheers—groomed his two "animals."
What lengths would you go to to help your own pooch overcome her fears? Would you risk being laughed at to make her feel that all was okay? This dad did! Watch the hilarious episode in the video below, show your friends, and leave us your comments!
