Scraggly senior stray hasn't been groomed for years but looks like a fresh pup again after a hair cut

A miniature Poodle was found near San Francisco as a stray in terrible condition. His fur was filthy, matted, and overgrown. His mats were thick and made every move painful and uncomfortable. The dog appeared to be a senior who hadn't been groomed in a long time, if ever. Nothing seemed to have gone this poor pup's way until he was taken to the shelter and the Muttville Senior Dog Rescue organization changed his life.
The rescue stepped in immediately and went to work making things more comfortable for the elderly dog. Named Beans, the dog patiently waited through the long grooming process as his dirty, knotted hair was cut away. It seemed as if the dog became younger each time more of the hair disappeared.

Once the hair was gone and the mats removed, Beans got an enjoyable bath and was free to move around again without pain and discomfort. The rescue noted that Beans "became like a new dog again."
Transformed and free from all that hair, Beans quickly picked upon an extra spring in his step!
The rescue reported that "He immediately began running around Muttville like an excited puppy and was so grateful to have his filthy, long matted coat finally off his body!"
Beans is twelve-years-old and in need of a loving family to care for him during his golden years. The rescue notes that Beans is "loyal, affectionate, and sweet."
