A busy construction site is no place for a cat. It's loud and full of dangerous equipment that can kill a human, let alone any small creature. Yet, some cats have no where else to go and take shelter there in an unfinished house or among the machinery.
So, when a man found a little gray-and-white kitty at the construction site where he worked one day, he knew he needed to get her out of there. She was scared and shy, but he managed to coax her to come with him.

Unfortunately, he already had pets and they frightened the newcomer even more. At this point, a woman named Sellecca Berg, who knew the man's family, stepped in and agreed to take in the homeless stray.
The couple immediately sequestered her in a quiet room to herself and named her Gravy. Within ten minutes, a startling transformation occurred – Gravy wanted to cuddle!
It turned out that Gravy was a sweet cat who loved humans, and wanted affection and attention. It was just that up until that point, she had been so stressed that she was closed off. But within a day, Gravy had decided her furever home was with Sellecca and her husband.
Once they got her calmed down and had established a connection with her, they introduced Gravy to her new brother, their gray tabby, Biscuit.
It took about a week, but soon, Gravy and Biscuit were lifelong buddies. It's now as though Gravy has always lived there.
