Flight passenger can't believe her eyes when a cat is found on board. See how the craziness unfolded

If you've ever flown on a plane, you're familiar with the mantra uttered by the flight crew to make sure your belongings are securely stowed under the seat in front of you. On a recent Air Canada flight traveling from Ottawa to Vancouver, there was a slightly different announcement. Prior to disembarking, passengers were asked to check if that space, usually reserved for carry-on bags, was instead housing a furry feline.
You heard right; there was a feline stowaway hiding somewhere in the cabin of the plane. And sure enough, a passenger soon called out that the surprise guest was nestled by his feet. The cat was quickly swept up by a flight attendant and returned to its owners.

Passenger Kath Thompson nabbed this picture of the escape artist in the arms of the flight attendant.
The little black cat belonged to a couple traveling with their two cats, but the intrepid traveler made a daring escape from its cat carrier.
In an interview with CTV News, Thompson shared her close encounter with the feline found under the gentleman's seat next to her. She told the news outlet that the cat was calm and went quietly. She also related that the flight attendant who captured the feline shared that she had never experienced anything like this in her 30 years on the job.
"I'm thinking I'm glad I'm not superstitious!" Thompson joked when asked how she felt about the discovery of the black cat. Watch the CTV News video below for the full story.
