Halloween may be over, but this little cat is causing quite a spook. Named Monkey or “Monk” for short, this black cat already has his dark coat to thank for causing people to be wary, but it's not his fur that has people thinking he has something of the supernatural about him.
Monk was born with a unique facial feature that makes him appear to be a real-life vampire kitty.
Monk's unusually long canine teeth certainly don't make this fuzz ball any more of a vampire than any other kitty, but they do add an air of extra cuteness to his whiskered smile.
Monk's owner noticed the kitty was growing the extraordinary fangs after losing his baby teeth. According to an interview in The Dodo, when she asked her vet about these strange chompers he said it was rare for cats to grow such long fangs, but perfectly harmless.
Despite resembling a blood-sucking vampire, Monk is just an ordinary cat who loves cuddles, naps, and romping about the house with his best bud Beans—he just happens to have some extra special teeth.
Nothing scary here. Just a normal goofy feline.
