Malamute pounces in the hallway, but his 'prey' isn't exactly his size

This is, by far, the best game of chase EVER.
This adorable Alaskan malamute is so playful and gentle with his little wiener dog friend. That wiener dog may be small, but he's fast!
According to Dog Time, Alaskan malamutes are one of the oldest dogs whose looks haven't been significantly altered by breeding. That's pretty cool! Despite their wolf-life markings, they aren't actually wolf at all.

Pet Wave elaborates, explaining that Alaskan malamutes are basically big puppies, retaining that endless energy reserve that puppies are known for well into their later years. They need a lot of play time to stay happy — at least an hour of intense play every day. They are happiest when they get lots of exercise, and they love playing with their owners, so it's a win-win!
He's also not going to be much of a guard dog — every human is his friend, which means walking him will be a treat, but he definitely won't fend off that burglar. He's just too cute!
