Dog stands up for a treat, but it's the baby you need to watch

An article on the Better Homes and Garden website states that teaching your dog how to do tricks not only mentally and physically stimulates him, but is a great way to bond with him too.
Well, the little baby and dog in the following video are clearly bonded and stimulated! Just look at how cute he is, twirling around with his best friend.

The article explains how to teach your small dog to dance it he's under forty pounds; dancing is not recommended for larger breeds or dogs prone to back problems.
In summary, the article states:
First, it’s important to be armed with treats and patience—remember this should be fun and rewarding. Keep training sessions to about ten minutes at a time. If he’s not having fun, your dog won’t perform well.
To teach your dog to dance, start with him sitting. Put a treat in your closed hand and put your hand near his nose. Slowly, so he can still follow the smell of the treat, move your hand over and a little behind his head, until he looks back and starts standing on his rear legs. As soon as he stands up, praise him and give him the treat. Repeat until he can do this part well and with ease.
The next step involves you moving the treat in a small circle above his head while he’s standing, so he will twirl. When he begins to step in a circle say “dance” and offer the treat with more praise.
Those instructions seem simple enough, right?
Or could the baby in the video have taught the dog just by showing him how it’s done? Take a look. You be the judge.
