Soldier and dog are preparing for tactical training, but nobody is prepared when they bust out their own dance moves

The last thing you’d expect when a soldier trains with his dog is a dance! Yet that’s exactly what happens in this video of a soldier and his canine partner as they dance to "Por Una Cabeza" during a tactical training exercise.
Their fancy footwork is in perfect unison as the German Shepherd carefully and intently watches his soldier to give him clues. Without a mistake, the dog stays perfectly in place between the soldier’s feet.

Amazingly, even though it might look like the soldier is sitting on his dog, the pup knew precisely when to drop to the ground underneath his buddy.
In their unusual waltz, dog and soldier move smoothly with the music, never losing step and gliding like swans on the water.
This is, nevertheless, a tactical drill, and the precision they develop together now may well save their lives and the lives of others on the battleground.
After remaining glued to the soldier as they back up, the German Shepherd then whips around the man and goes “to heel,” always keeping his eyes on his partner.
The soldier never even looks at the dog, but it’s not necessary because the dog never takes his eyes off his handler.
Whether moving in a straight line or turning in quick, tight, circles, their synchronization never falters. Watch this amazing video below and you’ll want to dance with your dog too!
