Dad notices his puppy struggling at the end of the driveway, and he sees what it is

When Peter Schulz from Jupiter, Florida, went outside to retrieve his Sunday morning newspaper, he discovered that someone was already at the end of the driveway—struggling with the paper! From a distance, it’s hard to tell the difference between the baby yellow Labrador Retriever Gracie and the Sunday Times, since they are of the same size.
But the best part is watching what Gracie does with the paper. You need to watch the video below to understand what we mean.

Gracie comes by her instinct to retrieve honestly. Not only is she one of the most popular breeds for hunting, but her mom and grandmother were wonderful retrievers, too. Gracie is obviously following in their footsteps.
At four months of age, Gracie is already showing the dogged determination this breed is renowned for. That the newspaper is as big as she is doesn’t daunt her enthusiasm for the task at all.
Her little mouth is barely big enough to wrap around the paper, and she’s not exactly sure how to grasp it. One thing she is sure about, though, is what to do with it when she finally gets it in her mouth.
“Take it to Dad, take it to Dad,” she seems to be saying. But holding onto that slippery prize is difficult for her, and she determinedly goes after it again.
With a little help from Dad in learning how to pull the paper along, Gracie starts to make progress.
No one ever said the path to victory was easy! Sometimes you have to take a detour—like through the grass—to get where you’re going. But that’s okay!
Eventually, she achieves her goal and carries the paper up to the house. Now that’s something to be proud of!
Enjoy this video of little Gracie learning to do what retrievers do best, and pass it along to your doggie friends. They’ll enjoy seeing this wee Labrador acting just like her grownup counterparts.
