Owner films cat going into neighbor's house. Sassy cat comes back with plans for its new toy

Sometimes we know exactly what we want and we go after it. Just like this cat. She knows exactly what she wants, and she's willing to go into her neighbor's house to get it!
Of course, what she wants is adorable and hilarious: a plush tiger toy! Her owner films her coming back from the neighbor's house with it in her mouth, about half her size. Mission complete!

But why does she like the toy? Way of Cats suggests that it may be a stand-in for prey, enabling her to practice the hunt. Some cats develop a very strong bond with special toys that they treat differently from other toys, and it seems like this is the case with this little girl.
Paws has another theory. They suggest it might be something like a maternal instinct — the toy could be a substitution for previous kittens. We think that's really sweet.
Of course, she's not just going to carry it around. To see what she does, watch the video below. And share this with anyone you know who could use a smile.
