Owner films moment her 6-week-old foster puppies meet her very patient cat

When you read about encounters between dogs and cats, they often don't have a happy ending. Sometimes there's chasing, sometimes there's ignoring (by the cats, of course), sometimes there's even fighting. In most cases, at least after meeting the first time, they aren't friends.
But here's an example of an encounter that goes really, really right. Storm and Shadow are foster puppies. They're tiny, adorable, furry little balls of energy. They want to lick, sniff, play with, and generally annoy everything they encounter. So what happens when they meet Finn?

Well, Finn happens to be an extremely patient cat. In this situation, it's necessary, because these pups are all over him! He seems to not mind it, though — if he were really upset, he'd be hissing, smacking his tail, or attacking them. And that's not what he's doing at all!
He very patiently lets them sniff and nibble and paw at him without getting upset. What a good boy!
It's dogs' natural initial behavior that usually causes the problems. Dogs want to run up and greet, while cats want to lay back and assess the situation. By running up to a cat, the dog can be seen as aggressive, which will put the cat on the defensive. Luckily, Finn lets the pups do their thing and doesn't get upset.
Make sure to watch the video below — it's full of so many aww moments that we couldn't even list them all. And share this with anyone who needs a smile.
