Bachelor party soon turns into a rescue operation when a dog shows up on the groom's doorstep

Mitchel Craddock from Michigan was getting married on October 8, 2016. He and his six best friends-slash-groomsmen and father had gone to a cabin in Oneida, TN for a final wild weekend of a bachelor party in the woods. And then a young dog showed up on their doorstep while they were cooking bacon for breakfast and upended their plans.
She seemed hungry and friendly, but shy, and she wanted that bacon. They quickly befriended her, calling her Annie. Just as quickly, they realized she had just given birth to pups and that her milk had dried up. They needed to find those pups quickly.

Annie at first was too protective to let them follow her. But when they took her out back, they noticed she avoided one particular spot, where there was a hole. Inside it, they soon found seven pups: Knox, Bear, Daisy, Gunner, Brimmy, Finn, and Rose. They were skinny but reasonably healthy, though infested with fleas. Annie had taken care of them as well as she possible could.
The men quickly bought dog food and took the puppies to the vet, as their plans for a wild weekend of drinking and carousing turned into one focused on caring for the pups and their mother.
Inside Edition
All were adopted by Craddock, his groomsmen, and family members, who all live within five miles of each other in Vicksburg, MI. The little canine family will be able to visit for years to come.
