When two professional soccer teams met to play a match in Argentina, one of their fans decided to get in on the action. From seemingly out of nowhere, an adorable little dog rocketed onto the field and stole the ball—and the hearts of spectators and player alike.
A player from San Lorenzo was supposed to make a corner kick after a member of the other team kicked the ball out of bounds, but the dog had other ideas.
Grabbing the ball before the officials could restore order, she dashed around the field showing enviable dribbling skills that delighted players and fans both. Her moves captivated everyone and her boisterous attitude kept everyone laughing for about thirty minutes while the officials tried to restart the game.
Once the little dog decided the ball was hers, she was willing to play with the teams, but not willing to relinquish the ball.

Although it took awhile, the game was eventually able to continue, with the final result being a win for San Lorenzo 1-0. Some people attribute the win to the little dog. If that were the end of the story, it would be enough. But a reporter tried to interview the pup.
Apparently, the microphone looked like a toy, too!
The team was so taken with the friendly dog that they gave her a job. News outlet Olé reports that the stadium's groundskeeper has adopted her and made her part of his own team. Several other dogs help him keep birds off the newly seeded grass each time the field undergoes repairs. Maybe she'll be able to play with the team sometime again soon!
