Last wish of man on death bed is to find the perfect home for his senior dog

For eight years, Harold and his beloved Beagle mix, Rowdy, have been a regular pair at the Woodward dog park in Fresno, California. Their lives quickly changed, however, when Harold was diagnosed with esophagus cancer that quickly spread to his lungs and liver. The trips to the dog park had to stop, and when Harold was told his cancer was terminal, he knew he had to find Rowdy a new home.
A friend from the dog park, Mona Ahmed, agreed to help Harold when he asked her to find Rowdy a home with a good family before his death. Specifically, Harold wants Rowdy to go to a loving family with a fenced yard with plenty of room for Rowdy to run and play.

Ahmed assumed temporary custody of Rowdy and wrote a Facebook post from Rowdy's point of view that read: “My name is Rowdy, I’m a 10 year old female and I’m fixed. Would you please help me and my dad who’s counting his days on Earth because of cancer?”
Ahmed's post went viral and was shared thousands of times around the world.
A potential home emerged, but Rowdy's time with the foster family did not work out. She was returned to Ahmed around the beginning of this year, and Harold took a turn for the worse.
Luckily, Ahmed had another foster family interested in giving Rowdy a home.
She has been there for over a week now, and things appear to be going well.
Hopefully, this will be the right family for Rowdy as she goes through a very traumatic time in her life. More information can be found about Rowdy by contacting Ahmed on Facebook.
Paws crossed that this is the home for Rowdy, so she can have love in her senior years of life and so her doting owner can pass peacefully knowing his dear Rowdy is taken care of.
