Italian Stefano De Munari found a cat abandoned at his barn. The long-haired kitten immediately took to De Munari, so the man decided to bring the cat home. What he didn't realize was the incredibly important role this cat would play in the life of his baby daughter.
De Munari believes that his meeting with the cat, whom he named Tiger, was meant to be. "Sometimes it is meant to be. He chose me then, and when we found out that we were having our daughter Sofia, he was always close to her even when she was still in the mother's belly," De Munari said. Indeed,

When Sofia came into the world, she automatically received a four-legged furry guardian and best friend. "Since she was born, he has been protecting her and the two are always together," explained De Munari.
Tiger loves to hang out with Sofia...
and enjoys playing with her too!
This wonderful cat also likes to watch the world go by with his best friend at his side.
Sometimes that means watching the world go by from inside the house, too!
Tiger absolutely loves to nap with Sofia, willingly doubling as a pillow while she sleeps.
In Tiger, Sofia has a believer, supporter and friend who will always love her no matter what. They've been together a year now, and they are completely inseparable.
