Betty Boo was abandoned but now is the main attraction at this hair salon

Walk into the BABAR salon in Melbourne, Australia, and you will see more than the usual stylists, customers and salon paraphernalia. Amidst the hustle and bustle of this popular salon sits a beautiful cat who calls this place his home. Meet Betty Boo, the star of the salon and furry friend to all who enter.
Seven years ago, hairdresser and BABAR salon owner Chris Guglielmi found an abandoned 8-week-old tabby kitten in dire need of medical attention. Guglielmi took the kitten to a nearby veterinary clinic and adopted Betty Boo after she had recovered from her injuries.

Betty Boo was given a loving home and a good life, and she quickly repaid it with her love for people, specifically the customers at Guglielmi's salon. The cat is a huge fan of cuddles and lap time, and BABAR is the perfect place for Betty Boo to receive both.
When Guglielmi opened the salon in 2013, Betty Boo found her real purpose in life: to spoil every customer of the salon with her loving attention, her snuggles and, of course, her professional-level lap warming talents.
One of Betty Boo's favorite things to do is keep the customer's laps warm when they are getting their hair washed or styled. She curls up, cuddles and even takes a quick cat nap. Betty Boo offers the perfect emotional therapy to completely relax clients as they get their hair and nails done.
Many customers find that Betty Boo requires their full attention when she is on their laps. No reading magazines or playing games on cell phones when this sweet cat is around!
There are few things that Betty Boo loves more than head scratches and massages, and luckily the salon clients are happy to oblige her. This rescued cat loves her job so much that she has never missed a day. Well done Betty Boo, and keep those cuddles coming.
