Cupid the chihuahua gets his own Christmas tree

Betsy Redfern has been best friends with her Chihuahua, Cupid, for years. The two met when Redfern was in the third grade. Now, 12 years later, they're just as inseparable as always.
When Redfern headed to college, she decided to bring Cupid with her. Knowing that Cupid would love to have his own special space, Redfern decided to give him the extra closet attached to her bedroom. She made it into a special space for Cupid to sleep in.

Redfern equipped the closet with a rack for Cupid's dog clothes, and the little dog loves his room. Redfern's mom helped out, too, designing a bed and sewing everything herself.
Although the room was already pretty adorable, Redfern decided that it needed a little holiday touch. So, she surprised Cupid with a tiny Christmas tree.
Redfern had been decorating her apartment for Christmas when she got the idea. She figured a Christmas tree would be a nice addition to Cupid's room. Plus, she likes to spoil him a little bit, and this seemed to be the perfect way.
Sometimes it's hard to stay in the holiday spirit with a busy college schedule. College dorms and apartments aren't always the most festive places. But Redfern made sure to bring the holiday spirit right into her apartment so that she and Cupid wouldn't miss out.
