Dog and soldier reunited thanks to a kindhearted flight attendant

Americans owe their freedom to heroes who risk their safety to protect the country. Many of those heroes have two legs, but some are four-legged. Military dogs bravely fight alongside their human companions, and through years of service and training, they develop an unbreakable bond.
But these military dogs and their partners don't always get the fairy tale endings they deserve. Dogs serving overseas are often left behind until they're retired, whereas their two-legged partners may be deployed to other areas. When military dogs are retired, their partners may adopt them but must cover the adoption fees and transportation costs out of pocket.

Meet Army sergeant Tom Hansen. Hansen served with Taylor, nicknamed Tay-Tay, but had to leave her behind until she was ready to retire. Although Hansen was delighted to adopt Tay-Tay upon her retirement, there was still the issue of transporting her.
Molli Oliver, a flight attendant with United Airlines, helps to reunite handlers and their retired canines. Oliver pays out of her own pocket to fly the dogs to their new homes, sometimes accompanying them all over the world. It's a mission borne of love for both the dogs and the military.
Thanks to her dedication to the cause, Oliver has changed the lives of dogs and handlers.
She offered the same service to Hansen and Tay-Tay, accompanying the dog on a flight to be reunited with her partner. When Hansen and Tay-Tay finally meet again, there isn't a dry eye in the entire airport. Take a look.
