Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks adopt a second rescue dog

Country music giants Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks showed they also have big hearts when they recently added a new rescue pup to their family. Millie, a perky black and white mixed breed, joins Emmy, whom they also rescued.
Millie was adopted from the Maury County Animal Shelter, and Yearwood noted on an Instagram post announcing the adoption that Millie was the "ONLY" dog adopted from the shelter that day.

"You can save a life, have a new best friend and give a homeless pet a forever home at the same time. Who knows, you might even adopt one of Millie’s siblings! xoxo," Yearwood posted, followed by #AdoptDontShop.
Thousands of Yearwood's followers posted their congratulations and enthusiastic support of adopting/rescuing dogs from shelters.
Judytranovich wrote: "As past president of our local humane society I just want to say thank you and remind people even if you can’t rescue a forever friend your finical support is sooo important ! The cost to run a humane society is so expensive and help is always needed – thank you."

Yearwood also posted pics of Millie, tired out from her big day, sleeping on a fluffy dog bed near her soon-to-be best friend, Emmy. That is one lucky rescue dog!
