When Adalynn Leary was a baby, her best friend was the family's 100-pound pit bull, Fury. Adalynn, now a toddler, still loves the dog's sweet nature. And lately, she found a way to give him some comfort, too.

When an earthquake struck near the family's Alaska home last year, it set everyone on edge. And when more than 5,000 aftershocks struck the town, it was hard for anyone to relax. Adalynn had severe anxiety and difficulty sleeping as a result.
But Adalynn soon found a way to cope with her fear. Her best friend, Fury, helps the toddler to feel safe and protected. So Adalynn started sleeping with Fury on the floor.
One night, though, Adalynn decided that Fury deserved an upgrade, so she invited him into her bed. The adorable scene was even caught on video.

The video has quickly spread online. Adalynn and Fury's bond is adorable, and at the same time the video also helps to dispel some of the myths about pit bulls. Fury has been raised in a kind and loving home, so that's just what he gives Adalynn in return.
