Mama cat rushes to hospital with baby in mouth

There's nothing in this world that quite compares to a mother's love of their own. This is no exception for cats! One mama cat acted immediately once she noticed something might be wrong with her offspring.
Hospital staff are used to deal with emergencies when a patient comes in with something serious from a bad accident. However, on this day, the staff in Istanbul, Turkey, could not have anticipated what was to come.

Twitter user Merve Özcan captures the event on social media. He writes, “Today, we were in the emergency room of the hospital when a cat rushed to bring her offspring in her mouth."
The cat was spotted immediately by hospital staff. The photo below shows the mama cat and baby being let into a hospital room as a member of the hospital staff graciously opens the door.
When the mother steps into the hospital, she carefully puts her baby down. Even though she doesn't have the words, it's clear she's expressing through her body language she's in need of help.
Doctors and paramedics immediately came to assist and surrounded the pair.
The staff bend down and begin petting the mama, almost saying, "Everything will be fine, mama."
The ER staff took in the cat and gave it the emergency treatment it needed. As the baby was being treated, the mama got plenty of milk and extra petting from everyone around.

How did the Internet feel? One Reddit user commented, "Just that lower left pic gets me. Just the full trust you see this stray have for humans melts my heart."
Another user replied, "In Turkey, stray cats and dogs are like everyone's pet. You can see food and water for these friends on every corner. Cats are welcome to sleep and live in mosques etc. It's a beautiful place for stray animals."

We don't know how long the mama cat and baby were at the hospital, but we do know that once the treatment was over, hospital staff released the mama and baby back into the wild.

Another reminder this story brings? Heroes don't just wear capes and fly around. They are here in this world everyday with us. It turns out that scrubs and masks do just as well!
