After he's rejected, girl asks classmate to homecoming. She then gets the best 'thank you' gift ever

The homecoming dance is a pinnacle of any high-schoolers experience. Come fall time, seventeen-year-olds around the country become excited about one of the biggest nights of their high school career. But what is supposed to be a time of excitement can also bring high stress to teens - particularly if they're frantically looking for a date.
Daniel Rivas, a teen from Las Vegas with Down Syndrome, was faced with this very problem when his homecoming dance approached. He'd even reached out and asked a girl to attend the dance with him, but was faced with rejection. But that's when classmate Kylie Fronius stepped in.

When Kylie discovered Daniel was dateless for hoemcoming, she decided she couldn't stand by and allow him to miss the festivities. Instead, she took the brave route of asking him to be her date to the dance!
"I don’t think of kids that have a disability as being different," Kylie explained. "I think of them just being a normal person learning in a different way."
Kylie asked Daniel out in a typically extravagant fashion, using large boards to spell out her intentions. Daniel's mom was particularly touched by the gesture. "It’s not about that Daniel has a disability. It’s Kylie didn’t see any disability. That is what your heart wants as a mom.”
The story, published by Fox News, quickly picked up steam, with the whole internet invested in the heartwarming tale. Many were inspired by Kylie's big-heartedness and wanted to hear more about the adorable homecoming couple.
But alongside giving the pair some publicity, Fox also decided to step in and make their homecoming night one to remember. The station first picked up the couple in a vintage car, then took them to an upmarket restaurant for a fancy dinner before the dance. Fox also laid out a red carpet for the pair as they walked up to the school.
But it didn't stop there. Fox also gifted both Kylie and Daniel's families with all-inclusive tickets to Disneyland.
The pair's story continues to grow in popularity! Their video currently has over seven million views, with heartwarming comments from people all around the world. "Women like her make the world a better place! Straight up!" writes one. We have to say, we agree.
